Art On A4: A special competition for Friends of the RA

Posted on June 02 2016

What does the RA mean to you?

The Friends of the RA have been supporting the Royal Academy’s ambitious exhibition programme and artistic vision for almost 40 years. To celebrate the anniversary of the Friends scheme in January 2017, we are inviting Friends to share their passion for art in an exciting competition.

Create a work of Art on A4, inspired by the question what does the RA mean to you?, for a chance to win a year’s contract as a chosen and promoted artist with CultureLabel including mentorship. The winner and 5 runners up will also have their work created into a limited edition print, to be displayed at a special event at the Royal Academy.

Your artwork can be created in any materials you choose on A4 paper, and entries will be judged by a panel from CultureLabel and the Royal Academy in September.
